| Windsor's Peace Fountain is truly a remarkable sight. This spectacular centrepiece of Coventry Gardens floats in the centre of a concrete seawall basin, a few feet from the shore. The saucer-shaped fountain creates a unique water and coloured light display in 35 computer programmed patterns, which change every 24 minutes. The 67 nozzles shoot 66 000 litres of water per minute 22 metres into the air. At dusk, the fountain lights up with an ever-changing display that should not be missed. The fountain operates daily from 11am-11pm, mid May until October. |

| Dieppe Gardens, in our City Centre, offers a stunning view of the Detroit skyline, which includes the Renaissance Centre and one of the world's tallest hotels. The Queen Elizabeth II Sunken Gardens occupy 2 acres and the Lancaster Memorial Rose Garden occupies 4 acres. Together they feature 12 000 rose bushes, including 450 varieties of roses. A central attraction in the Park is the Lancaster Bomber mounted on a pedestal and surrounded by a rose garden, which serves as a remainder of the 400 Windsor men who gave their lives during WWII. |
